The Full Moon Party at Haad Rin Beach started in 1985 with a handful of people and a sound system dragged onto the sand. It's grown considerably since then.
These days it's the biggest monthly beach party on the planet — multiple stages, fire shows, every genre playing simultaneously. It's loud, it's packed, it's genuinely unlike anything else.
Note: some 2026 dates are officially adjusted to avoid Buddhist holy days (Wan Phra Yai). All dates on this page reflect the confirmed schedule.

Common questions
How far are you from Haad Rin?
About 20 minutes by taxi. We arrange shared or private transfers both ways — just mention it when you book.
What time does it start and end?
From around 9 PM until sunrise — typically 6–7 AM. We arrange transport at any hour you need it.
Why not stay in Haad Rin itself?
Haad Rin fills up weeks ahead and prices triple. You can't sleep before or after — the music runs through the night. Our guests go, come back to a quiet beach, and wake up to the ocean instead of a foghorn.
Why are some dates adjusted?
Thai authorities occasionally shift the party by one day when the full moon falls on a significant Buddhist holy day (Wan Phra Yai). We list the officially confirmed adjusted dates.
What should I bring?
Cash (Thai Baht), water, comfortable shoes. Neon body paint is sold on the beach. Leave your passport and valuables at our front desk.
Minimum stay?
We recommend at least 2 nights. Single-night stays available but may have restrictions on peak dates like December and New Year.
